Piaute ATV Trail

Jill and I left the kids in Wyoming and headed down to Fillmore, UT where we began a 4 day ride on the Piaute ATV trail.

The first morning we rode from Fillmore to Marysvale on trails 03-01-02. Total ride time was 6 hours for a total of 75 miles. The day was nice, warm and clear.

Day two: Marysvale to Circleville on trail 01. Ride time was 5 hours. This day was the opening of archery deer seasion. We saw lots, and lots of hunters in the mountians but not a single deer. Started to rain and hail on us at about noon. Good thing we had good rain geer. The trail into Circleville through wades canyon is quite rough and rocky.

Day three: Circleville to Salina was the long day. 115 total miles, 7 and a half hours of riding (well almost) Most of this portion is quick going. We needed a gas stop in Koosharm, but it was Sunday. So we had to wait for church to get out so the lady could open up her gas station.

Day four: Salina to Fillmore only took 4 hours for a total of 58 miles. The east loop 03 was fantastic. There were 6 river crossings and single track trail. Quite fun.

In all we rode 310 miles that weekend. have to do that again.
